It is one of the largest exhibitions dedicated to civil aviation in Europe. It is an impressive display occupying over 1,000 m² of exhibition space in Hangar No. 5 — the Museum's largest building. The exhibition presents not only aircraft and gliders, but also rich collections of documents, photographs, memorabilia, models, uniforms, navigation instruments, on-board instruments and many other exhibits that allow visitors to discover the history of civil aviation in Poland — from the earliest balloon flights, through the development of glider and aircraft designs, to the contemporary achievements of Polish aviation.
The exhibition has been designed with the widest possible audience in mind — both for aviation enthusiasts and families with children. Interactive stations, flight simulators, aircraft cabins open to visitors, and innovative multimedia solutions mean that everyone will find something of interest here. The exhibition not only educates but also inspires — it shows the enormous contribution that Polish designers, pilots and engineers have made to the development of world aviation.
