About the Museum

The Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków – a cultural institution of the Małopolska Voivodeship – is not only a treasury of history, but also a place where the past meets the future, inspiring generations to discover and draw from the rich aviation heritage of Małopolska, Poland, Europe and the world. We invite you to join us on a fascinating journey through the history of aviation and to discover not only extraordinary exhibits, but also a broader cultural context. After all, each of our objects – from the birth of the modern aviation era to the present day – represents the culmination of technological and manufacturing achievements. Each object or artefact is a crystallisation of the spirit of passion and a monument to the dedication to freedom, presented in the modern context of a former airfield.
