The celebration of the 11th Małopolska Territorial Defence Brigade is behind us!
Yesterday, an important ceremony took place at the Polish Aviation Museum — the celebration of the 11th Małopolska Territorial Defence Brigade. The event was exceptional for two reasons: this year the 11MBOT celebrated its 5th anniversary, and moreover we had the opportunity to witness the military oath taken by nearly 50 new volunteers!
Among the invited guests were representatives of voivodeship and municipal authorities, commanders of military units, state services, and families of the volunteers. We were also accompanied by the military attaché of the Republic of Hungary.
A great surprise was the arrival of a Warsaw Uprising participant, Maj. Hanna Zawistowska-Nowińska. Glory to the heroes!
On the occasion of the 11MBOT celebration, Deputy Director of the Polish Aviation Museum, Tomasz Krzaczyński, presented a letter of congratulations to the Commander of the 11th Małopolska Territorial Defence Brigade, Col. Marcin Siudziński.
