We have received very sad news. On 7 January, Andrzej Dąbrowa joined the “Heavenly Squadron”.
It is thanks to him that we acquired a unique collection of museum objects associated with Stefania “Baśka” Wojtulanis-Karpińska. Mr Andrzej also ensured that mementoes associated with his father — Col. Obs. Adam Dąbrowa (who served as, among others, commander of the 301 Bomber Squadron “Land of Masovia”) — found their way into our Museum’s collection, and he himself also donated to us mementoes associated with his own service in the ranks of the Polish Air Forces in the West. A man of great heart and immense modesty has left us.
