We inform you that until the end of 2024, due to the construction of a fence around the new hangar, the pedestrian routes through the grounds of the Polish Aviation Museum will be changed.

People using the publicly accessible park areas of the Museum will still be able to move freely between the runway at Bora Komorowskiego Street and Mariana Markowskiego Street, which leads from the entrance to the Museum’s Main Building to Jana Pawła II Avenue. Signs directing to open passageways will be placed on the new fence.

The new fence will optimally protect not only the newly built Hangar No. 5 but also its surroundings. Thanks to this, the new hangar and the rest of the outdoor exhibition will create a single coherent and mutually complementary exhibition space. It will also be possible to safely use the helicopter landing pad.

The fence design was consulted multiple times with representatives of the Municipal Heritage Conservation Office, and all requirements and suggestions were taken into account. When designing the fence route, the needs of residents were also considered: the new fence will not close off the previously existing informal passageways.
