On 12 March 2025, a cooperation agreement between the Museum and the Air Force Academy in Dęblin was signed at the headquarters of the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków. The document was signed by Tomasz Kosecki, Director of the Polish Aviation Museum, and Brig. Gen. Pilot Dr Eng. Krzysztof Cur, Rector-Commandant of the Air Force Academy.

The signed agreement aims to popularise the history of Polish military aviation, protect aviation technical heritage and pursue joint educational and research activities. Both institutions have committed to mutual support in the areas of:

  • promoting knowledge about the history of Polish aviation and its traditions,
  • organising exhibitions, cultural events and air shows,
  • joint scientific research and exchange of experience in the conservation and restoration of aviation technical heritage,
  • mutual promotion and sharing of archival and library resources.

The agreement is particularly significant in the context of the upcoming celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Eaglets’ School in Dęblin, which provides an excellent opportunity to undertake joint activities aimed at preserving the memory of Polish aviators and promoting the national aviation heritage.

The cooperation between the Polish Aviation Museum and the Air Force Academy is another step towards integrating the aviation community and strengthening historical education related to Polish military aviation.
