The Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków invites you to celebrate Grandparents’ Day together. We have prepared creative workshops specially for grandmothers, grandfathers and their grandchildren. Together you will be able to create lasting aviation-themed souvenirs: your own wooden model aircraft or a fabric bag decorated with hand-made aviation motifs. This is the perfect opportunity to spend time in an intergenerational atmosphere of joy, creativity and a passion for aviation.
This coming weekend — 24 and 25 January 2026 — we invite you to creative workshops dedicated to grandmothers, grandfathers and their grandchildren. The creative workshops will run simultaneously in two groups.
Grandfathers and their little ones will take part in model-making workshops, during which, under the guidance of educators, they will assemble their own wooden model aircraft. There are several types of models to choose from, with varying levels of complexity. Both beginners and more advanced modellers will find something for themselves! Each participant will take home a completed, ready-made model assembled by themselves.
Grandmothers with their grandchildren, on the other hand, will create their own aviation symbols and motifs during art workshops, which they will then transfer onto a fabric bag. These bags, decorated by their combined efforts, will be a lasting souvenir of this special day.
