The Family Home Museum of the Holy Father John Paul II in Wadowice has announced the launch of a nationwide film competition under the slogan #JP2INSPIRES. The challenge is aimed at people aged 15–22, who will prepare a 90-second video about how the life and teachings of the Polish Pope inspire them today. The submission deadline is 31 March 2025. Attractive cash prizes await the winners — the winner will receive PLN 10,000.
The #JP2INSPIRES competition is the first project of the Youth Council at the Family Home Museum of the Holy Father John Paul II in Wadowice, and it is its members who will select the winning films. The young people invite their peers to take a creative look at the motivations they draw from the life attitudes and teachings of John Paul II. The competition task involves recording a short film (up to 90 seconds) about how the Pope inspires them in everyday life. People aged 15 to 22 can take part. At a ceremonial gala in Wadowice, the winners will receive cash prizes:
1st place — PLN 10,000
2nd place — PLN 2,000
3rd place — PLN 1,000
Entries in the form of files can be submitted by 31 March 2025.
The #JP2INSPIRES competition is held under the patronage of TVP 1.
All competition details, rules and important information are available on the website of the Family Home Museum of the Holy Father John Paul II.
The originators of the competition are members of the Museum’s Youth Council — fifteen young people who since November 2024 have been actively involved in the work of our Museum. Thanks to their great ideas and fresh perspective, they can make this place even more open to young people. The #JP2INSPIRES competition is their first major project — they will form the competition jury!
