DATE:13 / 10 / 2025

This year’s Polish Aviation Day celebrations at the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków attracted a record number of participants17,000 visitors took part in the event! This exceptional celebration, paying tribute to Polish aviators and all people connected with aviation, also became one of the most important family and cultural events in Kraków and Małopolska.

The programme of the celebrations was extremely diverse and full of attractions for participants of all ages. From displays of military equipment and presentations by re-enactment groups, through military band performances and educational zones, to the opportunity to meet pilots and aviation enthusiasts in person — everyone could find something for themselves.

The highlight of the event was the official opening of the new permanent exhibition: “With the Wind and Against the Wind — Civil Aviation”, devoted to the history and development of Polish civil aviation. This exhibition, occupying a space of over 3,000 m², is the largest and most comprehensive presentation of this subject in Poland and one of the largest in Europe.

The celebration was crowned by an evening multimedia show — a mapping display “Polish Wings”, projected onto the façade of Hangar No. 5, which houses the new exposition.

For all those who could not attend the Małopolska celebrations of Polish Aviation Day 2025, we have prepared a film from the event. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience the atmosphere of this exceptional day once again — we invite you to watch:
