The Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków, remaining faithful to its mission of preserving the memory of the most outstanding representatives of Polish aviation, wishes to inform about a fundraising campaign for Eng. Henryk Bronowicki — a distinguished test pilot who is currently facing serious health problems.
Henryk Bronowicki is an exceptional figure in the history of Polish aviation. Born on 9 February 1948 in Kozłów, for decades he served Polish aviation as a civilian test pilot at the PZL Mielec plant. He flight-tested 488 newly produced aircraft, including the An-2, M-18 Dromader, M-28 Skytruck, TS-11 Iskra and I-22 Iryda. His impressive record includes over 14,000 flights on 56 different aircraft types, of which 3,283 hours were spent in the air as a test pilot. After completing his service in Mielec, he took up work as an airline pilot with Eurolot.
Today, in retirement, he needs our support.
Therefore, the Museum — in a spirit of solidarity with the aviation community — is spreading information about the ongoing fundraiser, with the hope that it will reach the widest possible circle of people of goodwill who feel part of this history and — if they wish and are able — will join in this noble form of assistance.

We believe that the fate of a man who devoted his life to the development of Polish aviation will not leave indifferent those who value the courage, knowledge and passion of the pioneers of Polish aviation.
