On 7–8 March 2026, the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków invites you to Aviation Women’s Day — an event that will prove there are no professions in aviation reserved exclusively for men. On Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00, we invite you to a unique meeting with professionals who are responsible for the safety of thousands of passengers every day.

We invite you to hear the fascinating stories of professionals who with courage and passion chose a demanding path in the world of aviation. Participants of the event will learn the behind-the-scenes of aviation professions first-hand — from the airport apron, through the hangar, to the cockpit and the air traffic control tower.

  • About the work of a marshaller, Marzena Florek will speak — the first woman Ground Traffic Coordinator at Kraków Airport. She has been associated with Kraków Airport since 2010, and today she is responsible for organising the work of the Ground Traffic Coordination team and supervising the execution of operational tasks. Her talk will show how the precision of gestures on the airport apron translates into the safety of aviation operations.
  • Inside the hangar, the audience will be taken by Anna Brodziak, a licensed aircraft mechanic and ambassador of LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services — one of the largest maintenance companies in the Polish aviation industry. The speaker is a graduate of aviation and astronautics (MSc Eng) and specialises in the technical maintenance of Embraer 170/190/190-E2 and Boeing 737 NG and MAX aircraft. In her talk she will show that every safe take-off begins with the work of the technical team.
  • The world of professional cabin crew will be introduced by Anna Rembielińska, a flight attendant with many years of experience and a Cabin Crew Instructor, who will talk about the responsibility, procedures and competences essential in the passenger cabin — where empathy must go hand in hand with the highest safety standards.
  • About the image and professional preparation of cabin crew, Anna Kosecka will speak, a flight attendant of LOT Polish Airlines — one of the oldest active airlines in the world. A graduate of Iberian Studies at the University of Warsaw, she regularly operates flights on Embraer 170/190/190-E2, Boeing 737 NG and MAX and Boeing 787 aircraft. During the meeting she will reveal the secrets of a flight attendant’s dress code.
  • The behind-the-scenes work of passenger aircraft pilots will be presented by Captain Katarzyna Gojny and Captain Magdalena Majcher from LOT Polish Airlines. They will talk about the path to the profession, demanding training and the responsibility that accompanies every scheduled flight.
  • About who really “has everything under control”, Anna Zawartka will tell — an air traffic controller who has been working at Kraków Airport for over five years. A graduate of navigation at the Air Force Academy in Dęblin, she passionately combines her work with a love of aircraft, sport and travel.

The talks by the invited experts will serve as compelling testimony that modern aviation knows no division into “male” and “female” professions — women successfully serve as pilots, mechanics, controllers, flight attendants and aviation operations leaders.
