Mother’s Day at the Polish Aviation Museum as part of the 14th Krakow Family Festival

The Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków cordially invites you to a special Mother’s Day celebration, which will take place on 23 May 2026 as part of the 14th Kraków Family Festival. This year’s event, organised by Kraków City Council and the ‘Arena Kraków’ Foundation, is themed: ‘Family is a team – our strength lies in our relationships’.

The event focuses, among other things, on addiction prevention, whilst promoting the development of strong family bonds and healthy habits. The Polish Aviation Museum has put together a special programme of activities that will allow mums and children to spend the day in a creative and inspiring way.

Programme of event

10:00–11:30 – Aviation keyring-making workshop: Create unique souvenirs inspired by the world of aviation.
12:30–13:00 – Scarf-tying workshop: Discover a variety of ways to tie and style scarves.
13:00 – Guided tour no. 1 – “In the footsteps of female aviators at the Polish Aviation Museum”: A fascinating journey in the footsteps of the women who have made their mark on aviation history.
13:15 – Guided tour no. 2 – “In the footsteps of female aviators at the Polish Aviation Museum”: Another opportunity to discover the extraordinary stories of female aviators.
14:00–16:00 – Art and creativity workshops: Create your own bags featuring aviation symbols.
