On 3 March, Cooperation Agreements between our institution and the Faculty of Law of the Jagiellonian University and the Kościuszko Mound Committee were signed at the Collegium Novum of the Jagiellonian University. The documents were signed by Tomasz Kosecki, Director of the Polish Aviation Museum, and Prof. Piotr Dobosz, serving as Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and President of the Kościuszko Mound Committee in Kraków.
The signed agreements envisage a broad scope of joint activities, the foundation of which is mutual support for initiatives aimed at promoting culture, science and technology. Cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and the Kościuszko Mound Committee will include in particular:
Among the invited guests were: Prof. Czesław Dźwigaj — a renowned sculptor and member of the Kościuszko Mound Committee, Dr Piotr Hapanowicz — a historian, custodian of the Museum of Kraków and Vice-President of the Board of the Kościuszko Mound Committee, Leszek Cierpiałowski — Director of the Office of the Kościuszko Mound Committee, as well as Board Member of the Kościuszko Mound Committee, Konrad Myślik.
On the occasion of the signing of the agreement, the Director of the Polish Aviation Museum, Tomasz Kosecki, was awarded a medal by the Kościuszko Mound Committee. The meeting was concluded with a ceremonial entry in the commemorative book, accompanied by an illustration depicting the Kościuszko Mound, the logos of both institutions and aircraft silhouettes, symbolically underscoring the nature of the established cooperation.
The signed agreements represent an important step towards the integration of academic and museum communities, contributing to an even more effective dissemination of knowledge about the achievements of Polish aviation and important chapters in the history of our Homeland.
