RWD-10 replica at the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków
Recently, a 1:3 scale model of the RWD-10 aircraft joined our collection of models. It was built and donated to the Museum by Mr Wojciech Kardaś (a model-maker and aviation model workshop instructor). We extend our heartfelt thanks to the creator for this magnificent exhibit.
Here are the construction details:
- the model is equipped with a combustion engine;
- the replica is largely wooden, with strips profiling the shape of the fuselage (truss construction);
- the profiling elements and fuselage shape were made of wood;
- the wings and control surfaces are also of wooden construction;
- the model is covered with aircraft fabric;
- the model features a reproduced instrument panel.
Dimensions:
- height: 0.63 m
- length: 2.06 m
- wingspan: 2.5 m
We invite you to the Museum!
