On Saturday, 28 February, the Kraków Indoor Model Competition in the F1N category took place. The competition proved successful for the participants from the Museum’s Model Workshop, who took podium places in two categories. The competition was organised by the Youth Cultural Centre “Dom Harcerza” in cooperation with MTSR Sowiniec.
On Saturday morning, the hall of the Youth Cultural Centre “Dom Harcerza” became the arena for young modellers’ competition. In three age groups: Młodzik (under 14), Junior młodszy (under 16) and Junior (under 18), a total of 37 competitors took part, representing 6 model workshops.
The Model Workshop of the Polish Aviation Museum had its representatives in two groups:
The competition was fierce, but our young modellers performed very well, shining with their skills. In both categories they took second place on the podium!
We congratulate all participants who took part in the competition — we are proud that our modellers took top places and splendidly represented the Polish Aviation Museum. We invite you to join our MODEL WORKSHOP.
The MODEL WORKSHOP of the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków is a place where weekly WORKSHOP CLASSES in building flying models (balloons, gliders, aircraft… — including radio-controlled ones!) take place.
They are led by Michał Filas — one of the most outstanding Polish model aviation builders! A member of the national team in model aviation.
We invite children and young people over 10 years of age to the weekly meetings.
