We are pleased to announce that the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków has joined the “Powered by 4 Paws” project — a unique initiative created by Atelier Wartości, whose aim is to improve the safety and welfare of domestic animals visiting public spaces. Out of care for our four-legged visitors, a new “Pet Care On the Go” first aid kit is now available on the Museum grounds.
Our Museum has been pet-friendly for years, and canine and feline guests are welcome (all you need is a lead and — for larger dogs — a muzzle). Now, thanks to participation in the project, a special “Pet Care On the Go” first aid kit is available on the Museum grounds, which will allow an appropriate response in the event of minor injuries or emergencies that may befall pets during a visit together.
The kit has been prepared in accordance with veterinary recommendations and contains, among other things, disinfectants, dressings, bandages, tick removers, scissors and disposable gloves — everything necessary to quickly and effectively help a four-legged companion.
The first aid kit has already been tested and approved by our Museum’s canine specialist — Hugo, who not only checked its contents but also, with full commitment, gave it his “tail of certification”!
This is the next stage in the development of initiatives run by Atelier Wartości — a certified social economy entity that combines commercial activity with a mission to achieve socially beneficial goals. Conversations with pet owners and animal welfare organisations gave rise to the idea of creating a network of first aid kits available in public spaces — museums, cultural centres, tourist facilities and recreation areas. This is how the #PoweredBy4Paws initiative was born, which from today also operates on the grounds of our Museum.
The “Pet Care On the Go” first aid kit is located right by the main entrance to the Museum — Our team is ready to provide assistance and support if needed.
Remember — you can come to the Museum with a dog or cat, provided that the pet is on a lead and the dog wears a muzzle.
Welcome!
