Starting today, thanks to a new agreement between the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków and the Małopolska Science Centre Cogiteon, tourists wishing to visit both institutions will pay less. This joint initiative not only shows Małopolska’s care for its guests but actively attracts them to the region — promoting the accessibility of culture and science at an affordable price.
On Wednesday, 11 June 2025, Tomasz Kosecki, Director of the Polish Aviation Museum, and Dr Kazimierz Koprowski, Director of the Małopolska Science Centre Cogiteon, signed an agreement introducing mutual ticket discounts:
The terms of the agreement come into effect on Thursday, 12 June 2025 and apply to all visitors of both institutions within a two-week period. The discount is applied at the time of ticket purchase at the ticket office upon presenting the admission ticket to the partner institution (purchased no earlier than 2 weeks before the date of the visit). The discount applies on a ticket-for-ticket basis.
Apart from the undeniable value of each institution’s exhibitions, the Polish Aviation Museum and the Małopolska Science Centre Cogiteon are located in direct proximity — their location on the grounds of the historic Rakowice-Czyżyny airfield, one of the oldest airfields in Europe, gives the joint offer a unique character. A stroll between the buildings — along the taxiway and fragments of the former runway — is a pleasure not only for those craving green spaces in the city, but also a journey through the history of aviation and technology.
