Sky-High Winter Break

Why do aeroplanes fly? What is the difference between a glider and an aeroplane? Why can birds fly but people cannot? Who is a flying ace? Can leaflets fly away? We will try to answer these and many other questions during winter holidays organised at the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków.

This will be a unique opportunity to spend time among peers, gain new knowledge and have great fun. The programme includes workshops, team-building games, guided tours and film screenings.

The winter holidays in the form of day camps will take place in two weekly sessions, from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.:

Session I: 12–16 February 2024 – recommended for children aged 6–11

Session II: 19–23 February 2024 – recommended for children aged 9–12

What you should know

  • Groups can have a maximum of 25 participants.
  • The cost of participation in the day camp is PLN 500 per session.
  • Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Lunches are additionally paid for parents who choose to purchase catering – PLN 25/lunch
  • Registration and payments: by 7 February 2024

9:30 – 10:30 team-building games, learning the daily schedule
10:30 – 11:00break for second breakfast (own meal)
11:00 – 14:00walks, guided tours, art workshops
14:00 – 14:30lunch break (provided by the museum)
