We have recently carried out the restoration of markings on the Yak-40 aircraft in the collection of the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków.
See how beautifully our Yak-40 looks in its restored paint scheme of the 36th Special Air Transport Regiment.
The first example of this passenger aircraft model, designed to operate from short, unpaved airstrips, arrived in Poland in 1973. It could accommodate 32 passengers. Numerous specialist versions were also produced, as well as a VIP version for 13 passengers that is still in use today.
In the 1980s, Yak-40s were leased from the 36th Special Air Transport Regiment by LOT Polish Airlines.
The newly repainted Yak-40 can be admired at the outdoor exhibition by the taxiway. Perhaps soon, you will also be able to peek inside…
We look forward to seeing you!
