Is flying aircraft black magic?
Of course not — it’s pure physics!
We invite the youngest visitors to take part in the museum’s Aerolaboratorium, during which children will learn about different types of flying machines and carry out simple, engaging experiments. Using balloons, models and a blower, we will discover how it is possible that aircraft and other objects can lift off the ground. After the experimental part, we will set off on a short journey through the history of aviation, visiting the most interesting museum exhibits — including a unique visit inside one of them.
The workshop combines learning, fun and exploring the fascinating world of aviation, perfectly nurturing the curiosity of young explorers.
Target group: ages 3-7
Duration: 60 min (workshop + short guided tour)
Number of participants: 10 to 25 people
Reservations can be made online, by phone 12 642 87 00 ext. 0 or by sending an email to: kasa@muzeumlotnictwa.pl

Is there room for art at the Polish Aviation Museum?
And how is it that aircraft can teach us to draw?
Join our sky-high art workshops that will take you on a creative journey combining art and aviation. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, participants will discover basic drawing techniques that allow them to transfer a piece of museum reality straight onto paper. Together we will choose an aircraft we would like to immortalise, and then, using pencils, crayons and pastels, we will create our own unique artwork inspired by the history of aviation.
During the class, participants will learn:
What is perspective and how does it help build a realistic drawing?
What is the importance of well-chosen colours?
Why do artists so often look at their hand with one eye closed?
Target group: ages 13 and up
Duration: 2h
Number of participants: 10 to 20 people
Reservations can be made after prior arrangement of the date with the Museum Collections Outreach Department by sending an email to: deum@muzeumlotnictwa.pl

What can you take away from the Aviation Museum besides knowledge?
For example, a hand-assembled and decorated model of an aircraft or helicopter!
We invite you to one-off model-building workshops held in our unique aviation educational space. During the class, children will assemble a wooden model of an aircraft or helicopter, and then — inspired by the museum’s collection or their own imagination — give it an individual paint scheme. Each participant takes the finished, painted model home to enjoy the results of their work and a museum souvenir for a long time to come.
It is the perfect opportunity to combine learning about the history of aviation with creative fun!

Duration: 1h
Number of participants: 10 to 25 people
