The Magic IV hang glider was designed in 1983 by Bruce Goldsmith at the British-Austrian company Airwave.

It was produced in Model 133, Model 166 and Model 177 versions, adapted for pilots of different weights.

Magic IV hang gliders were also used in Poland.

Polish hang glider pilot Krzysztof Grzyb flew on such a hang glider during the 1st Hang Gliding Championship of Socialist States, organised at Mount Zar on 7-17 July 1987. He finished in 8th place in the final standings.
