An engine designed and produced at the Austro-Daimler works. The engine cylinders are cast from steel and then machined. The pistons are made of aluminium. The water jackets are steel, welded shut. The carburettor is heated by water from the cooling system. It was used in the Lloyd C.II, Lloyd C.V, Oeffag D.III, Hannover Cl.V, and Brandenburg C.I aircraft.
