A licensed version of the Il-10 aircraft engine. A piston V-engine equipped with a supercharger. This is a version of the Soviet AM-42 engine, intended for the Il-10 ground-attack aircraft produced under licence at the Avia works in Czechoslovakia for the licensed version of the Il-10, designated Avia B.33. Czechoslovak-produced engines had a poor reputation among users due to their high failure rate.
