An ultralight aircraft built by Jozef Gorszczynski based on French amateur construction documentation for the Croses EC-3 “Pou Plume” (Feathered Flea), which in turn is a development of the pre-war Mignet “Pou-du-Ciel” (Flying Flea) design.
This aircraft has an unconventional control system, without an elevator (it is controlled by deflecting the upper wing up or down) and without ailerons (there is no way to directly control the aircraft’s roll).
Construction of the aircraft began in 1970 and was completed in 1975. In July 1975, the first towed flight without an engine was performed (ballast was placed instead of the engine), and this maiden flight was carried out by the aircraft’s designer.
The first powered flight was performed in June 1977 by engineer Jan Gawecki. The designer logged 800 hours on the aircraft, even using it for international tourism.
