A remotely controlled flying model in canard configuration, powered by electric motors with counter-rotating propellers, equipped with an autopilot, designed by Edward Marganski, Mieczyslaw Kucharski, Janusz Michniowski and Marek Mecner between 2018 and 2022.
The basis for the work on the model was the experimental aircraft “Malgosia II” with an analogous canard configuration. It was donated to the Museum’s collection by Edward Marganski in April 2025.
It was used to investigate the feasibility of the concept of an aircraft flying in a horizontal position but taking off and landing vertically.
The model is made of composite material. On the upper part of the fuselage there is a vertical and horizontal tail unit and two equipment compartment covers, one of which is fitted with a cooling air outlet. Below are trapezoidal wings fitted with ailerons. At the wingtips there are four metal supports that enable vertical takeoff and landing.
