The first aero engine produced by Peugeot.
The engine was developed as a continuation of a very successful powerboat and racing car engine that had been in production since 1910. The Peugeot engine was equipped with two enclosed Claudel carburettors heated by exhaust gases. Each carburettor fed four cylinders.
The cooling system was equipped with two centrifugal water pumps. The dual ignition system consisted of two S.E.V. magnetos.
