We are proud to showcase our latest acquisitions! Thanks to the generosity of Mr Krzysztof Wieczorek, the Museum has come into possession of the trophies of the Wieczorek brothers — aviators so outstanding that in the photographs below we could only fit a portion of the trophies they won in national and international competitions.

Waclaw Wieczorek was a multiple world and European champion in precision and rally flying, and a three-time Polish champion.

Krzysztof Wieczorek won championship titles three times during:

  • The 16th World Precision Flying Championships in Denmark,
  • The 17th World Championships in France,
  • The 19th World Championships in Poland in the Federation Aeronautique Internationale competitions.

Among the most valuable exhibits from the Wieczorek brothers’ trophy collection are:

  • Trophy for 2nd place in the 56th South-Western Poland Rally Flight
  • Icarus Statuette for 1st place in the “Golden Ten Aviation Athletes”
  • Trophy (vase) for 2nd place in the 10th World Precision Flying Championships held in Deblin
  • Polish Champion Trophy from the 52nd Polish National Navigation Flying Championships

The trophies can be admired as part of the new permanent exhibition With the Wind and Against the Wind. Civil Aviation, in Hangar No. 5.
