A radial engine with direct fuel injection into the cylinders. Designed by a team led by A. Shvetsov. It was series-produced after World War II in the USSR and under licence in Czechoslovakia under the designation M-21. It was used in, among others, the Yakovlev Yak-11 and Tupolev UTB aircraft.
