A licence-built version of the French Gnome-Rhone 14K Mistral Major engine, produced at the Walter factory in Czechoslovakia in a total of 190 units, in response to the demand of Czechoslovak aviation for high-power engines. It was a successful and reliable design. It was used in the Aero MB-200 bomber aircraft.
