On July 4–5, 2026, the Nowy Targ Aeroclub Airport once again became a meeting place for aviation enthusiasts from across Poland. The 15th Nowy Targ Air Picnic, a permanent fixture on the calendar of the country’s most important aviation events and one of the most exciting air shows in Małopolska, once again attracted crowds of spectators and exceptional aircraft – both historic and contemporary.

The event was organized by the Nowy Targ Aeroclub – a successor to the Podhale aviation traditions dating back to the Tatra Aeroclub in 1957. The event’s strategic partner was the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Voivodeship, which has long supported initiatives promoting aviation and the region’s heritage.

The Polish Aviation Museum was proud to once again partner with this unique event, actively participating in its program.

The historic machines, presented against the backdrop of the picturesque panorama of the Tatra Mountains, attracted huge interest from the public and once again proved that historic aircraft tell their story best when they can be seen in flight – we invite you to view the photo gallery:

In addition to the air show, we also prepared a museum promotional stand where visitors could learn more about the Polish Aviation Museum’s current offerings, planned events, and attractions for this year’s summer holidays. Our mobile museum shop, offering a wide selection of publications, souvenirs, and gadgets related to the history of aviation, also proved very popular.
