Designed by Antoni Kocjan, the Komar was one of the most important Polish gliders of the interwar period. On such a glider, on 13/14 May 1937, Wanda Modlibowska set a world record for flight duration of 24 hours and 14 minutes. After the war, production was resumed based on preserved documentation.
