The New Building of the Polish Aviation Museum won the grand prize in the prestigious competition “Poland Grows More Beautiful – 7 Wonders of European Funds” organised by the Ministry of Regional Development.
The “Poland Grows More Beautiful – 7 Wonders of European Funds” competition has been held for the fifth time. Its aim is to select and award the best projects in the areas of tourism development, sports and recreational infrastructure, public space management, and revitalisation, co-financed from European Funds.
The Polish Aviation Museum won the grand prize in the Tourist Attraction category. The Main Building was awarded as one of the most modern and most expressive museum buildings in Poland, created from scratch. From a bird’s-eye view, the building resembles a spinning propeller. Thanks to its unique form, it has become one of the most recognisable buildings in the region and throughout Poland.
