Signing of Important Agreements

On 27 March 2008, at the headquarters of the Małopolska Regional Government, two events of great significance for the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow took place. Two documents were signed that give the Museum a strong impetus for development. Both concern the construction of the Aviation Cultural Park together with the new Main Building of the Museum.

The first of these documents is a pre-agreement for an individual key project of the Małopolska Regional Operational Programme for 2007–2013, signed by the Marshal of the Małopolska Region Marek Nawara, Deputy Marshal Leszek Zegzda, and the Director of the Polish Aviation Museum Krzysztof Radwan.

The second document is a contract with the General Contractor for the construction of the Aviation Cultural Park and the Main Building of the Museum, signed with the company Budostal-2 S.A. from Krakow, selected through an open tender. The contractor was represented by Board Member and Economic Director Krzysztof Bartyzel.

The pre-agreement is a pledge for co-financing the project with European Union funds and sets out the project schedule and the further course of proceedings for the investment.
