On 29 December 2008, an agreement was signed in Krakow between the Małopolska Regional Government and the Polish Aviation Museum for the co-financing of the Project “Construction of the Aviation Cultural Park, including the Main Building of the Polish Aviation Museum” under the Małopolska Regional Operational Programme for 2007–2013, Priority Axis 5.
