A Jet for the Farmer
A jet for the farmer – on this day, the PZL M-15 aircraft, known as Belphegor, built in Mielec, made its maiden flight. It was the only jet-powered agricultural aircraft in history. The aircraft did not enter serial production. One example of this unusual machine is part of the agricultural aircraft collection at the Polish Aviation Museum.
