Around the World Without Landing

The fourteen-member crew of a Boeing B-50 Superfortress (nicknamed “Lucky Lady II”) began the first successful flight around the world without landing. The flight lasted 94 hours and 1 minute. Take-off and landing took place at Carswell Air Force Base in Texas.
