Bożena Aircraft
In the village of Ludomy, the S-1 Bożena aircraft, built by Stanisław Stelmaszyk, made its maiden flight. The aircraft did not survive the war, but the designer later built a non-flying replica, now in the collection of the Polish Aviation Museum.
