Death of Engineer Puławski
On this day in Warsaw, engineer Zygmunt Puławski, designer and pilot, was killed in the crash of the PZL.12 seaplane prototype. He was the creator of the “Polish wing” fighter concept, i.e. the PZL P-series fighters. One of them – the PZL P.11c – is an exhibit at our museum.
