Disaster in Mirosławiec
Disaster in Mirosławiec – on this day, twenty soldiers, mostly officers of the Polish Air Force, were killed in the crash of a military CASA C-295 aircraft in Mirosławiec. The following day, President Lech Kaczyński declared a three-day national mourning.
