Hughes’ Flight Around the World
American entrepreneur, filmmaker, pilot, and aviation pioneer Howard Hughes, at the controls of a Lockheed Super Electra, completed a flight during which he circumnavigated the globe in a record time of 91 hours and 17 minutes. The flight departed and arrived in New York.
