PZL P.6 Over Paris

During the air show at Le Bourget airport in Paris, the Polish aircraft PZL P.6 was demonstrated. It was recognised as the world’s best fighter. The aerial display was performed by Captain Pilot Bolesław Orliński.

The American reconnaissance aircraft Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird made its maiden flight. Capable of exceeding 4,000 km/h, it is the fastest aircraft ever deployed operationally. 32 Blackbirds were built and served until 1999.
