Maiden Flight of the F-117
The American strategic bomber Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk made its maiden flight. The aircraft was built using technology ensuring low radar detectability, hence it is commonly called “invisible to radar”. The F-117 was in service from 1983 to 2008.
