The first combat flight of Polish aviation took place – Lieutenant Stefan Bastyr and Lieutenant Pilot Janusz Beaurain, taking off from Lewandówka, flew over Lwów, where they attacked Ukrainian soldiers. According to various sources, they used a Hansa-Brandenburg C.I or Oeffag C.II aircraft. Polish Aviation Day was celebrated on this day’s anniversary until 1932.
