Second maiden flight of the Komar – on this day, the IS-B Komar glider was first flown. It is a post-war version of the glider designed by Antoni Kocjan and first flown in its original version in 1933. This successful glider was used until 1965. A restored IS-B Komar 49 from 1950 is in the collection of the Polish Aviation Museum.
Farewell to the An-26. On this day, the An-26 transport aircraft in service with the Polish Air Force made its final flight. The Polish Air Force operated twelve aircraft of this type, the first purchased in 1971. One of them, after completing its service at Balice, was transferred to the Polish Aviation Museum.
