Solo Around the World

American Wiley Post, at the controls of a single-engine Lockheed Vega 5B “Winnie Mae”, became the first person to fly solo around the world. The flight took 7 days, 18 hours, and 49 minutes, departing and arriving at Floyd Bennett Field in New York.
