Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków

  1. These regulations – hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations” – set out the rules for using the car park belonging to the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków – hereinafter referred to as the “Museum”.
  2. The car park is an unguarded, free-of-charge car park intended exclusively for Museum visitors. The car park is intended exclusively for passenger vehicles with a gross weight of up to 3.5 tonnes and motorcycles.
  3. The document entitling the holder to use the car park is a Museum admission ticket or invitation. Car park users are obliged to present their ticket or invitation to Museum staff or security upon request.
  4. The car park is open from 8:30 to 17:30 daily, except on Mondays and days when the Museum is closed. In the event that a vehicle is left after the car park closing time, the vehicle may only be collected on the next day the car park is open. In such a case, the Museum will charge a fee of 100 PLN gross.
  5. These Regulations apply to all users of the Museum car park. Each user is obliged to read the content of the Regulations before entering the car park and to observe its provisions and instructions from Museum staff or security.
  6. On the car park premises and the Museum’s internal roads, the provisions of these Regulations and the Act of 20 June 1997 – Road Traffic Law (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1047, as amended) apply. Use of the car park constitutes the conclusion of a parking space rental agreement, the parties to which are the Museum and the car park user, under the terms set out in the provisions of the Civil Code. The rental agreement is concluded when the user enters the car park premises and ends when the user leaves the car park premises. The parking space rental agreement may be concluded for a period within the hours specified in point 4.
  7. Entering the car park premises is equivalent to consenting to the use of the car park and accepting the provisions of the Regulations and the user’s commitment to comply with them.
  8. Compliance of car park users’ conduct with legal regulations and the provisions of the Regulations is supervised by persons acting on behalf of the Museum.
  9. Car park users are obliged to park vehicles exclusively in designated parking spaces and during the hours specified in the Regulations.
  10. The Museum shall not be liable for vehicles, their equipment and other property of users located in/on vehicles left on the car park premises.
  11. The Car Park Manager shall not be liable for any damage resulting from the use of parking spaces in a manner inconsistent with the applicable legal regulations and the provisions of the Regulations, caused by car park users or third parties.
  12. The car park user is liable for any damage caused by themselves and persons under their care. The car park user is obliged to immediately inform the Museum of any damage that has occurred. These actions are to be carried out directly at the Museum’s secretariat.
  13. The speed limit on the car park premises is 20 km/h.
  14. The following is strictly prohibited on the car park premises:
