1st Lt. pilot
Jan Latawiec (1898–1924) – first lieutenant pilot of the Polish Army. He was born on 16 May 1898. In 1921 he served in the 10th Aviation Squadron, which was part of the 2nd Aviation Regiment in Kraków. He was killed on 3 July 1924 (the circumstances of his death are described as a flying accident). He was buried at the military cemetery on Prandoty Street in Kraków.
