L/Cpl. pilot
Gerard Schmidt (?–?) – corporal pilot of the Polish Army, associated with the 2nd Aviation Regiment in Kraków. He served as a fighter pilot, and during World War II was associated with No. 302 “Poznań” Fighter Squadron. In April 1945, during a reconnaissance flight, he was forced to land in the Netherlands due to engine failure and was taken prisoner by the Germans on the same day. His further fate after the end of the war is not known.
