L/Cpl. pilot
Stanisław Tofin (1905–1941) – senior sergeant pilot of the Polish Army and the Polish Air Force in Great Britain, associated with the 2nd Aviation Regiment in Kraków. He served as a pilot in the 2nd Aviation Regiment in Kraków. After the outbreak of World War II he made his way to Great Britain, where he joined No. 304 “Silesia” Bomber Squadron. He was killed on 6 February 1941 in a flying accident in Bleasby, Nottinghamshire. He was buried at the cemetery in Newark-on-Trent, Great Britain.
