L/Cpl. pilot
Michał Zarębowicz (1917–1943) – corporal pilot of the Polish Air Force, associated with the 2nd Aviation Regiment in Kraków. He served in the 2nd Aviation Regiment in Kraków. During World War II he joined the Polish Air Force in Great Britain. He trained at the 18th Operational Training Unit, and subsequently served in the 26th Observation Squadron, carrying out training and operational duties within the RAF.
He died on the night of 29–30 March 1943 while on flying duty. He was buried at the Polish Airmen’s Cemetery in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain.
